How we choose what to build
Each product is picked on technology and on how few suppliers already serve Indian Railways.
- Very few existing suppliers to Indian Railways.
- Technically advanced, involving microprocessor-assisted processes, with a higher annual sale value.
- Value-added products, such as locomotive control panels supplied tested with accessories and connecting harnesses, ready for fitment with the chassis.
- Items directly related to passenger and locomotive safety.
- Availability of technically qualified people, with better training facilities for employees.

Based on market demand, technological readiness and commercial potential, product development is prioritised in this order.
Two phases of growth
Develop, validate, get approved
Product design and development, prototype manufacturing and product validation. Technical approvals and vendor registrations with Indian Railway organisations, including compliance with applicable RDSO specifications and quality requirements. This is the foundation for commercial manufacturing and supply.
A dedicated manufacturing facility in Bengaluru
A purpose-built facility will raise production capacity substantially and create direct and indirect employment for engineers, technicians and administrative staff. It will also support ancillary industries in fabrication, machining, PCB assembly, electrical components and logistics.
